This is an amazing rare oil lamp from Kerala called Tamara vilakku. Ancient Kerala was famous for the veracity of oil lamps made out of bronze metal. In each locality, there were specific styles of oil lamps and all of them have their beauty.
This lamp is used to keep in front of homes on special days like Onam, Vishu, Navarathri pooja functions, etc. in each layer of the lamp there can be 5 wikes to be lightened, So in all nine, there will be 45 lamp wikes to lighten.
This is about 3 feet in height, 2 feet wide, and 10 inches in depth. This is a dismantlable type oil lamp and its all components are in good condition.
